Wire grass B16: Biennial Exhibition Opening

RP

Updated: Sep 20, 2024

Hello...

I know it's been a while, but the past month has been a BLUR! Cat and I delivered "The Remainder of Unusable Equations" to the WMA July 15th, headed to visit her family's farm in Mississippi for the weekend, drove home, headed back to Dothan for the WMA's B16 opening, and then headed home where I have been on a roll working on many new large sculptures and a whole new batch of works on paper! To say the least, we haven't had a spare moment to update the news blog.

We would like to thank the staff and volunteers for a wonderful time at the Wiregrass Museum of Art opening for their B16: Biennial Exhibition. It was a great turnout despite the monstrous thunderstorm that stayed around for the entire length of the opening. Of course, Cat took her camera, so here are a couple of shots from the opening.

Also, be on the lookout for a new series of works on paper! Cat will be uploading them over the next few weeks.

Cat was sneaky and took a picture of me through my sculpture while I was attempting to remain out of view.
